Minor Track & Field Events

           SPRINTS & HURDLES

 

Speed is essential for Track & Field events.  However, other sports such as baseball, basketball, football and soccer benefit from speed training.  Speed training, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, hurdles, and relay events are covered in the track and field program

           LONG & HIGH JUMP

 

Quest Sports Canada's Track and Field Club focuses on two main jumping events the long jump and the high jump.  Training for this event is followed up by our conditioning program.

           THROWS

 

Quest Sports Canada's Track and Field club focuses on several throwing events, javelin, and shot put. Training for the throws occurs one time per week followed up with strength and explosive training.

Running Track
           RUNNING EVENTS

 

Quest Sports Canada's Track and Field club focuses on several running events which also includes middle distance running
